- DYLON Fabric Dyes are the easy way to add colour to your home and wardrobe. From all colours bright and beautiful to rich and intense shades
- Perfectly suited for smaller items like shorts, vests or socks, and for delicates, you’d rather not put in the washing machine, like wool and silk.
- One sachet is enough to dye 250g of fabric to the full shade or up to 500g of fabric to lighter shades (250g of salt required). Use multiple packs to dye larger quantities.
- Suitable for: Wool, silk, cotton, linen & viscose. Mixed fabrics will achieve a lighter shade of colours and synthetic fabrics like polyester and nylon won’t dye.
- This colour is also available as Machine Dye. Use with Pre-Dye if you want to change from one strong colour to another or if you want to achieve a lighter colour.

Wendy Dawson –
Great value ,great colour, easy to use. Wish they did other colours at this price
Kerry Butler –
Brought two expensive tshirts that faded after two washes. So purchased some dye to not have to chuck them out! Worked wonders! Look amazing
Krys –
Most definitely for small items, I had a pair of lightweight trousers and the dye result was very poor really. I think even a large t shirt wouldn’t get a great result. I would only use these again on very small items, or buy two of them! But that then makes the machine wash dye a much cheaper option. It would be nice if dylon made two separate sizes of cold water dyes.
Lisa M Livingston –
My denim jacket had gone completely white. I bought this dye in the hopes of returning it to a nice light blue and that’s exactly what I got. Very easy to use.
Mrs Miggins –
It’s probably my own fault, but the colour simply didn’t take at all to the item I was trying to dye. The sachet itself is easy enough to make up, although you will need a big bucket and lots of cooking salt. You’re supposed to then submerge your item in the dye for about an hour, stirring frequently. Only the lining of my (light) item changed colour, so do check the compositiion of your fabric first or else you’ll waste your money like I did.
Miss C Mcguinness –
This is a great dye goes on very evenly and lasts.
Brenda Morgan –
Followed the instructions to the letter, if anything has made it worse, my top I tried to dye It will have to be thrown away… only tried to dye it as i had a few bleach marks on it… it didnt colour those marks

I have dyed quite a lot of natural fibres and this was a cream wool jumper, now a lovely shade of light blue
